Mission Workshop just announced the new Arkiv Modular Bag System. It will be available to Hong Kong customers through Rodafixa. Pre-order now accepted.
Fiddling through the pictures of my trip to SF in March, I found that I totally missed out on posting these taken at Mission Workshop. The big red warehouse-like workshop is quietly situated in the middle of an aisle, with space where bikes and car can be parked in front. All sorts of bags and apparels of Mission Workshop are hung on to steel tubes, in relaxed and casual plumber style. I was invited to take a sneak peek on the 2nd floor workshop where bags are repaired and Bicycle Coffee got packed in small bags ready to be delivered. With a big orange couch in the middle and coffee scent in the air, it’s obviously a great space to chill.
Mission Workshop is debuting this Arkiv® Modular Bags this Spring. This new design is pushing the envelop on the smart modular system.
MISSIONWORKSHOP – Waxed Canvas Roll Top Messenger Bag

Unlike conventional messenger bags that uses tarpaulin or other synthetic materials for water proofing, MISSIONWORKSHOP took a step back by using an American-made 10 oz. waxed canvas material for a classic look and feel. The Waxed Canvas Roll Top Messenger Bag is based on their popular Rummy messenger bag, featuring a specially designed roll top compartment that is accessible by two cargo pockets.
