We took a track course in the Whitehead velodrome in Shatin, Hong Kong this past weekend and passed an exam to be qualified to race in Hong Kong’s velodrome.
And thanks to Brian for the brilliant edit again. How I wish the video captured our 2nd day exam when all of us had to ride above the stayer’s (blue) line for 3 laps. The descent from top of the slope down to the blue band felt like roller-coaster.

A bunch of us had a track course at Whitehead Velodrome of Shatin, Hong Kong. It was the first time for most of us. The velodrome was supposed to be a temporary one. It’s a pity that it is not used more often or made more accessable. Here’s my edit.

This velodrome doesn’t seem as steep as the one in Whitehead, does it?
A bunch of us took our first lesson in a velodrome in Whitehead, Shatin. Three hours of basic technique practicing got us so excited. Tomorrow there will be a test of three consecutive laps above the Stayer’s line. Hope the weather is doing fine.
